By using keyword destination URLs Google can identify which keyword is best suited to the website content when someone clicks on a Display ad using the URL. So for example if you are selling clothes for babies you could stick to keywords at ad level but it is possible to hone this even further using keyword level URLs. For example a display ad with ‘cheap baby clothes’ could be linked to a landing page with clearance items whereas ‘organic baby clothes’ can link directly to a specialist landing page for an organic range.
